The first of 14 small paintings is finished! This is my first attempt at using gouache on wood (I've used it exclusively on paper) and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Gouache is much easier to use than acrylic and way more versatile than watercolor. Seriously, where has gouache been all my life?!
